The University of Kansas Audio-Reader Network is a lifeline for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or print disabled. For over 53 years, Audio-Reader has been delivering the gift of sight through sound. From 24/7 audio streams of newspapers and magazines to special requests for textbooks and legal documents, this program fosters independence and connection.
Here’s how you can help! Donate your gently used audio equipment at a Special Equipment Drive on Thursday, May 1st from 4pm to 7pm at Fairlawn Plaza in Topeka.

Tuners
Amplifiers
Turntables
CD Players
Cassette Players
Speakers
and Musical Instruments
At this time, we are NOT ABLE to accept TV's, CD's, VCR's, VHS tapes, video games, audio books, 78s, computers & accessories.
The 2025 SLI Festival of Trees will be November 25 through December 6,
10 am to 6 pm each day.
